We booked a table for 5 friends at 8pm (7.30pm was not available even though the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived). The occasion was a birthday celebration. We were greeted and given water. After a considerable wait I had to get up to find someone to take a drinks order. The first irritating issue was that when we ordered 4 glasses of house Champagne, the maitre d&rsquo; tried to persuade us to buy a bottle of a more expensive brand. No one appeared to be responsible for looking after our table. When we eventually ordered, we specifically asked for the duck dish to be well-cooked. It arrived rare and we had to get up and find a waiter and send it back. The rest of the food was good, but no one came to our table to check if everything was all right or if we needed more drinks.  My partner had phoned in advance to ask if the restaurant could do something special for a birthday. After the main course, the waiter eventually reappeared. We had to remind the waiter that we had asked for something special - at least a dessert with a candle. He clearly knew nothing about this and didn&rsquo;t know what to do. We waited expectantly and he returned with one small scoop of ice cream with a candle and presented it to me. The rest of the table was not asked if they wanted dessert. I was extremely embarrassed by this and very angry at the way my guests were treated - especially as we had advised the restaurant in advance of the celebration. By the time we left, there were no staff members around, no one said goodnight or asked if we had enjoyed the meal - nothing! We just made our way out - what should have been a lovely celebration destroyed by truly appalling service. We booked Mister Bianco on the basis of the great reviews we had read. We will never come to this restaurant again and will advise other friends of our experience.

Had a great entree Beef Carpaccio, one of the best ever actually. Duck for main was ok. I think a little underdone and lacklustre veggies. My dining companion had main course Wagu Beef which was very good ????

I haven&#39;t eaten at Strictly Thai for a few years mostly due to covid but really glad we did as the food was fabulous &amp; the service amazing. Nothing was too difficult &amp; we will definitely be going back.

We enjoyed great food and coffee but service / communication could be improved with trading in basic waiter skill. Ambiance was fine outside. Inside seemed cold to us.

I have never been disappointed when I live on the side of my house. I have never been disappointed. The lunch is super affordable.

The Skinny Dog, Kew, 16-06-16 The renovated Hotel just up from the Kew Junction is a welcome change from the &lsquo;standard&rsquo; (that is being polite) ALH group of Hotels. This hotel has a great contemporary rustic feel to this venue at the main bar and dining room area at the front of the venue. Then with the extension they have gone with a very contemporary fell. I have entered this venue for a few years now and welcomed the addition to the back of the hotel and the slight changes to keep the venue fresh in a very competitive market. The waiters were all well attired and completing their duties with a warm smile and thoughtful attention to their customers without being over bearing. Dinning with a friend and colleague after 8pm on the hotels chicken parmigiana special night I chose the long time favorite of the standard or close to the classic chicken parmigiana. As I thought start at the beginning of the special menu, then venture to other flavors on following nights. So for our $20 we received our chicken parmigiana with chips &amp; salad and a beer (Glosh..? don&rsquo;t quote me on that point, as it was a very long day and the first beer did not touch the sides, but, it was good beer) The beer was served with pace and the chicken parmigiana was delivered from the kitchen within a few minutes after that. The salad was fresh with just enough dressing to give good flavor and not to drown the salad or over power it. The Chips were freshly cooked, so, to the parmigiana &hellip;. 1 large chicken breast cut and pounded out to be the size of a large plate, great for the diners who eat with eyes and want SIZE over everything else&hellip;.! Thus the chicken was slightly over cooked, dry and crisp on the bottom. The tomato sauce was well seasoned and flowing off the chicken with the cheese was well grilled it was a good example of a chicken parmigiana. Food was lovely however the service was undesirable. The waitress was rude. Had to ask on 2 occasions where our drinks and coffee were. Was also then interrupted by waitress and rudely told &ldquo;how are you paying for this&rdquo;? and after the bill was settled, not even a thank you. Not to mention was charged a surcharge without even informing us.

Excellent food and lovely wait staff. Despite being last to leave, we were not rushed. It was a great experience.

The food was amazing, loved the squid ink pasta. We were so full that we couldn&rsquo;t fit in the dessert but the lovely young waitress suggested that we can always do a takeaway, as I wanted so much to try their Tiramisu. So we did!  One of the best Tiramisu we&rsquo;ve ever had.  We can&rsquo;t wait to return.
